Shopmobility is collecting your personal information for the purpose of ensuring your cover for insurance purposes when using our equipment and to record where our equipment is stored. The information you provide is collected under the legal basis of legitimate interests pursued by us in order to ensure that you receive appropriate insurance cover whilst you are hiring our vehicles. We will not share your information with any third party without asking you first, unless it is required by law for us to do so

We will keep hold of your information for 10 (ten) years following the end of your hire period in line with our policy in order that should you wish to hire again in that period we have your details without having to request them again, unless you wish us to remove it from our database.

You may exercise your rights under the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 (DPJL) at any time. These include but are not limited to:

• Your right to seek access to your personal information;

• Your right to have inaccurate information held about you rectified;

• Your right to have your information erased from our systems (where circumstances prescribed in the DPJL are fulfilled);

• Your right to have the processing of information held about you restricted (where circumstances prescribed in the DPJL are fulfilled);

• Your right to object to us using your information for the legitimate interests purposes described above;

• Your right to object to receiving any direct marketing material we send you (Please note that we do not do any personal marketing);

• Your right to withdraw your consent for us to hold and use your information at any time.

• Your right to complain to the Office of the Information Commissioner should you be unhappy with the way we handle your personal information.
